The V Brazilian Conference on Rheology will be held at Marina Palace Hotel, Leblon beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in July 2010.
The meeting is supported by The Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences (co-sister of ASME), through the Rheology Committee, Catholic University (PUC-Rio), Fluminense Federal University (UFF-Rio), National Laboratory of Computing Science (LNCC/MCT) and Rio Grande do Sul Federal University (UFRGS). The main goal is to bring together researchers and professionals with common interest in Rheology and Non-Newtonian Fluid Mechanics, in order to establish a forum for the exchange of researches and ideas.
The meeting will have technical sessions and invited lectures. Simultaneously to technical sessions, it will be happening an exposition of Rheology equipments.

The Brazilian Society of Rheology (SBR,www.sbreologia.com.br) will be launched at the meeting.
